Careful flying needed at Gresham

The digital team had a successful day this week at Gresham castle and Gresham church, undertaking drone photography for 3D modelling.

The photographs now all have to be sorted and processed for the models – we'll have some to show you in due course. Photography around the church required some careful flying – the drone has a small radar that bleeps anxiously when it get a bit too near the trees – but hopefully it's captured all angles of the church.

Gresham's own heritage project is centred on the church, and it's hoped this photography will be of help to both that project and to Footprints.
