Exciting weekend with Hexachordia at Blofield

There will be a memorable weekend of music in Blofield Church this November.

On Saturday 16th at 3 pm there will be
A workshop opportunity to see and hear early instruments up close.
A potted history of music and musical instruments from earliest times through to the Baroque era is called “Is that a Crumhorn?”. The narrative is punctuated by pieces of music played on a wide range of instruments to demonstrate them, and all this is accompanied by images shown on a screen. A time for refreshments will give a further chance for you to ask questions and see the instruments up close.
Entry £2 at the door.

The next day, Sunday November 17th at 3pm, sees the return of Hexachordia in concert.
Puddings and Pies provides a rich menu of music and song, washed down with poetry and verse.
Some 16th and 17th century music; three musicians with 12 early instruments.
Tickets £10 at the door include wine and delicious refreshments, for which Blofield Church are justly famous.
