Paston Heritage

Rare wall painting to be reconstructed digitally

A rare medieval wall painting of the Last Judgement in Paston Church will be digitally reconstructed in an exciting new project for which funding has been obtained from the Norfolk Coast Partnership.

We intend to use expert advice and use the reconstructed image to support a community workshop where artistic responses, in ceramics and textiles, will be produced. Local crafts people will be involved.

Welcome to Paston Heritage

Our aims are:

To preserve Paston Church as a centre for both physical and spiritual refreshment for residents and pilgrims.
To aid research into the history of Paston and the Paston family.
To seek actively to introduce a new generation of local historians to their heritage.
To promote events that unite the community of Paston.
To raise money for the proper preservation of the church and other buildings as the need arises.
